Andrea Riseborough stars in a brilliant slow-burning thriller about an IRA sympathiser forced to become an informant by MI5. Experiencing the violent conflict first-hand as a child, she decides as an adult to undertake a terrorist act on the London Underground. A tense and gripping story, but with an honest focus on the moral dilemmas faced by the characters. It’s a familiar subject but the film eschews easy answers, drawing us into a convincingly authentic drama.
