Lewes Film ClubA middle aged lorry driver reluctantly agrees to take a young woman and her five–month old child from Paraguay to Buenos Aires. With little dialogue the director uses sidelong looks and occasional remarks to shade in an unspoken backstory of love and grief. The two leads perform a remarkable duet that’s made up almost entirely of silences, beautifully and tenderly observed. Even the baby is outstanding.
